Bethany "Bee" Hebert

Tonight, I opened up the Bible to Psalm 16:9-11: “my heart is glad and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore.”

Bee is in heaven.

Around 5:00 am this morning, Bethany went home to be with the Lord. She was only 18 years old, her birthday was in a week. This is such a tragedy, we are all grieving for her. Such a great loss. She was an angel, meant to fly with golden wings above it all. We will always remember her, our dear sister Bethy B. This site will become an online memorial for her, with pictures, memories, our thoughts full of love.

Thank you for all your prayers.
She is now resting with the One.

We are contending for the full recovery and restoration of Bethany. I encourage people to pray against the spirit of Death and other principalities and powers. As Jesus said "some only come out by prayer and fasting."

Bethany has a divine destiny and a testimony to give. She has a desire to help disadvantaged children overcome challenges and obstacles in their life. We believe God is going to give her another chance to make a difference in her generation. Pray that she will embrace her destiny and rise with a new determination and sense of purpose.

Jesus has the keys to life and death, hell and the grave. All power in heaven and earth has been given to Him. And we know He loves Bethany with an everlasting love. There is nothing that can separate her from the love of God, neither height nor depth nor principalities nor powers, things present nor things to come.

We are more than conquerers thru Christ Jesus. We know that God is good and He is faithful. No matter what happens, we know that in all things He works for the good of those that love Him and are called according to his purposes. We are confident of this.

Thank you for your powerful prayers of faith, life, and hope.

Justin

While praying for Bethany, certain scriptures have been impressed on my heart and spirit. Other passages have been shared by others. I want to list them here.

John 11 Jesus went to Bethany to raise Lazarus from the dead to new life.
Mark 5:39 "why all this commotion and wailing, the child is not dead, but asleep"
Psalm 139:12 "even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you."
Psalm 139:16 "All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."
James 5:15 "The prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up"
Psalm 23:4 "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death"
Psalm 46:5 "God is within her, she will not fall; God will help her at break of day."
Mark 9:25-26 "he was as one dead, insomuch that many said he is dead. But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up, and he arose."

Bethany's condition has taken a turn for the worse over the last 12 hours. Her lungs are very bruised and are not absorbing enough oxygen. The doctor is very concerned and says she is very ill. This is a setback from the previous couple of days. Fortunately, the fever has gone down and blood circulation is improving, so that is good. The family is pretty shaken up right now. Please pray for a quick supernatural healing in her lungs.

Thanks for all your prayers this past week – Bethany seems to be stabilized at this time, but has a long ways to go yet. Every improvement discovered by the doctors has truly seemed to be a miracle thus far, given the original prognosis.

Bethany 's family is standing guard with her around the clock – Claire and Madeline have flown in from California to be with her, and Jerry & Donita have driven over from Montana as well. They've basically taken over the waiting room. People have dropped off snacks and goodies for them, but if you feel led to make a meal or two which could be brought up to them, I'm certain it would be well-received. The Christiansen's home in Kent is basically the staging area at this time, so you are welcome to drop edibles off there – the address of their home is 4226 S. 248th in Kent (I have attached a map image). Please call Julie (253.735.0559) if you plan to drop something off, so she can coordinate having it delivered to the hospital.

Finally, with four sets of young parents involved who typically trade off childcare amongst each other, it has been a challenge for Graham, Clare, Rosemary and Caitlin to locate someone able to watch the children while they visit Bethany. If you have any time available to drop in at the Christensen home to stay with the kids while the parents are in Seattle, please contact Julie as well to coordinate schedules.
